Window Replacement And Patio Door Installation

Bob Milne and his team are great. We have had them replace windows and sliding patio doors on two houses and have been very happy with the North Star Window quality and the installation. Windows and the team showed up on schedule. Very fast and neat removal of old windows. Perfect installation. Good clean-up. Will definitely use them again.

We were dealing with renovations at the same time we had Manotick Windows & Doors doing the installations in several rooms of the house. They were able to work fast without an issue, making arrangements with the other contractors so that they were not in the way. Everything work out perfectly.

I especially wanted to thank Andrew and Brad for their understanding and creativity in responding to my concerns about the doors. I also wanted to say thanks to Bob for his proposal to send Peter to do our painting as a quote adjustment.  This turned out to be a great thing and we love chatting with Peter while he works.  He has so many interesting stories to tell we can’t possibly get tired of listening….. Besides, his work is impeccable and we would seriously consider calling him first if we have any other painting to do in our home.

This crew has its set up and clean up down to a science and really know what they’re doing when removing the old door and installing the new system. They are courteous, ultra-competent and focused. I feel very fortunate to have had Bob’s help in measuring and selecting finishes and I am highly impressed with his staff. What a great business!

They will find a solution to your requests

The communication with Manotick Windows & Doors has always been excellent. They keep you informed on the timing of the whole process and they reschedule at your convenience. The first time I worked with them was about 6 years. I wanted to change my windows because the glass in between the grilles was so hard clean. I loved the design but I thought I had to go for plain windows now. Bob, the owner and a great salesman, got the perfect solution: double pane windows with the grille design in between. We eventually changed the windows in our whole house. I can’t be happier. Even the workers are so polite and for sure they work fast.

Professional service

We recently had MWD install more windows and couldn’t be more satisfied. From beginning to end they were constantly in touch by phone to let us know the scheduling of incoming window order as well as installation timeframe.
They are professional and accommodating in all aspects of dealing with the client and are very neat and tidy which for us is key at a job site. Well done MWD!

Replaced All Windows And Doors In My House

We had a big job since all our windows and doors were replaced by Manotick. By far this was the best experience we’ve ever had from a building contractor/renovation expert. The work crew were professional, dedicated and very friendly. They went above and beyond our expectations. Quality of work was excellent and they always made sure that the job site was very clean…special thanks to Charley for that! Thanks to the management team for arranging my job and getting all the windows, doors, locks at the site as expected and with no hitches. Special thanks to the great installers: Jon, Josh, David, Charley and Jaime.

I am becoming a loyal customer

A big thank you to everyone for the recent installation of my new patio door and window.  From the initial phone call (Steven Poll) to a professional salesman (Spencer Gordon ) followed by a very capable measuring expert (Rob) and finally to the dedicated hard working installation team under John, the entire experience was completed skillfully and with great knowledge.  There was a little hiccup with a water leak developing after a torrential rainfall but the entire problem was quickly looked after directly by North Star Windows through Manotick Windows service.
Again, thanks to the entire team for my new door and window and a totally new face to my home!

10/10 Transformation of our 1940’s era home

We had been contemplating replacing the front windows of our home for some time. We had visions of replacing the 2 front main floor windows with Bays, as well as replacing the 2nd level bedroom windows at the same time. Working together, we came up with a plan that in reality, exceeded our highest expectations.

The style, size, colour, and details are just perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We could not have done it without you. The black metal roofs on the Bay Windows and the decorative brackets under the windows are the perfect finishing touches. You were also able to source new shutters for the windows to match our existing ones on the upper story! Really appreciate the extra effort.

Worth every penny

We decided to change all the windows in our house. We knew it was going to be an expensive project, but it was worth every penny. The guys came right on time and were able to finish the whole job in 2 days. They are efficient, polite and clean. We are in fact scheduling them to come back to have our garage doors done as well.

First of all, Bob your suggestion to go the extra width and the double sliding door from North Star was perfect.  It looks great.  Heat loss is not an issue.  The room is very comfortable even in the -25C we are having this week.

Brad and the team did a great job installing.  It was obvious they worked hard at doing an excellent job.  Please tell each member of the crew that we are very pleased with the work they did and the beautiful install.
