Another great job by Manotick Windows

First of all, Bob your suggestion to go the extra width and the double sliding door from North Star was perfect.  It looks great.  Heat loss is not an issue.  The room is very comfortable even in the -25C we are having this week.

Brad and the team did a great job installing.  It was obvious they worked hard at doing an excellent job.  Please tell each member of the crew that we are very pleased with the work they did and the beautiful install.

We were dealing with renovations at the same time we had Manotick Windows & Doors doing the installations in several rooms of the house. They were able to work fast without an issue, making arrangements with the other contractors so that they were not in the way. Everything work out perfectly.

Proven careful, clean and knowledgeable staff!

WOW, Manotick Windows and Doors was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, from the time they came out to give a quote which was in range with others that sold North Star windows, to confirming everything prior to ordering, accepting minor changes thought out the process and providing a copy of the updated work order(contract) in a timely fashion to approve was a breeze to deal with them.

When it came to installing the window and doors they called head and arrived on time. They took much care to cover furniture with sheets to protect them, lay carpet on the floors, they work well and did not rush. Each member of the team did an amazing job from take care to remove the windows, clean the openings, put the new windows in, center it and seal it up, the work they did on the window trim I was shocked how well they got to line up and the 45s are 45s.

When it came time for the patio door there was some rot they pointed it out gave me options, in the end I asked if they could address it, and again they did an amazing job at it, and were very fair when it came time to the bill. I ask for some modifications when it came time to some of the finishing on my front door and again they did not let me down, they again work with me on it overall. I hope the next person that needs new window and doors calls Manotick Windows and Doors, you will be pleased and wont be disappointed in their work and attention to detail. When I hear someone say “I need windows or doors replacement” the only thing I can associate it with is Manotick Windows and Doors.

10/10 Transformation of our 1940’s era home

We had been contemplating replacing the front windows of our home for some time. We had visions of replacing the 2 front main floor windows with Bays, as well as replacing the 2nd level bedroom windows at the same time. Working together, we came up with a plan that in reality, exceeded our highest expectations.

The style, size, colour, and details are just perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We could not have done it without you. The black metal roofs on the Bay Windows and the decorative brackets under the windows are the perfect finishing touches. You were also able to source new shutters for the windows to match our existing ones on the upper story! Really appreciate the extra effort.

Worth every penny

We decided to change all the windows in our house. We knew it was going to be an expensive project, but it was worth every penny. The guys came right on time and were able to finish the whole job in 2 days. They are efficient, polite and clean. We are in fact scheduling them to come back to have our garage doors done as well.

They will find a solution to your requests

The communication with Manotick Windows & Doors has always been excellent. They keep you informed on the timing of the whole process and they reschedule at your convenience. The first time I worked with them was about 6 years. I wanted to change my windows because the glass in between the grilles was so hard clean. I loved the design but I thought I had to go for plain windows now. Bob, the owner and a great salesman, got the perfect solution: double pane windows with the grille design in between. We eventually changed the windows in our whole house. I can’t be happier. Even the workers are so polite and for sure they work fast.

Responsive, Proactive, Clean

The quality of work was excellent. The installers were careful and did a clean job. They took their time to make sure it was done right. I also appreciated that they use their own crews instead of subcontractors. You could tell the team knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. A special mention goes to their lead installer who showed real professionalism.
What really stood out was how responsive they were. Whenever I had a question, they got back to me quickly. When they noticed a small issue with one of the windows, they proactively addressed it and fixed it. That kind of service means a lot.
I’d definitely recommend them to friends and family. It’s not often you find a company that combines good prices with solid work, and cares not only about their customer’s interests but also their own reputation.

Window Replacement And Patio Door Installation

Bob Milne and his team are great. We have had them replace windows and sliding patio doors on two houses and have been very happy with the North Star Window quality and the installation. Windows and the team showed up on schedule. Very fast and neat removal of old windows. Perfect installation. Good clean-up. Will definitely use them again.

A big thank you to everyone for the recent installation of my new patio door and window.  From the initial phone call (Steven Poll) to a professional salesman (Spencer Gordon ) followed by a very capable measuring expert (Rob) and finally to the dedicated hard working installation team under John, the entire experience was completed skillfully and with great knowledge.  There was a little hiccup with a water leak developing after a torrential rainfall but the entire problem was quickly looked after directly by North Star Windows through Manotick Windows service.

Incredible attention to detail

We recently had a storm door installed by Brad’s team at Manotick Windows & Doors, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! From start to finish, the team showed incredible attention to detail and did an amazing job with the installation. The new door not only looks fantastic but has also brought so much extra light into our home. Our whole family is enjoying it, especially the puppies, who now spend their days “on duty,” watching over the neighbourhood.
